My pops has always decorated our tree. My mum usually stays out of the way, whilst my sister and I try and sneak a few decorations on when my dad isn't watching. I'd like to say it is one of those special Christmas pastimes that my family has but to be honest it's usually quite traumatic! Every year something breaks and it is usually one of the decorations that are a hundred years old that have been passed down from my great grandparents.
However, this year I get to decorate my own Christmas tree!! I recently moved in with the boy and we are starting from scratch in our little Sunninghill flat. My head is buzzing with potential colour ideas - do I go for traditional gold and red or go a bit adventurous with torquoise on a black tree?! Is it fashionable to have an angel at the top anymore or are you best to have a star! Ooo I cannot wait to buy my first deckie!
