1. The build up - the excitement of Christmas coming soon, starting to buy presents for your friends and family, parties, writing your Christmas cards, listening to Bing Crosby while you wrap your pressies etc.
2. Fairy lights - you get to decorate your entire house with sparkly pretty lights
3. Father Christmas - wobbles his belly like a bowl full of jelly!
4. Green pyramids from the huge Quality Street tin
5. The music - I'm much more of a carol person than modern Christmas songs but whatever tickles your pickle you get to sing along and enjoy yourself.
6. All the food - Noone should be on a diet at Christmas!
7. Christmas films - There is nothing better than sitting down and watching a feel good Christmas film.
The most important ones:
8. Family - Christmas is sometimes the only time that families get together.
9. Good will to all men - People can often get wrapped up in themselves and forget about others but Christmas is a time of reflection and can let people stop and have a think, whether buying charity Christmas cards, offering to help the homeless, putting a box together for troops abroad or buying a present for a child who won't get anything for Christmas.
10.The magic of it all - that feeling of waking up and thinking 'has he been yet?'
