I was really disappointed with the Bullring's Christmas decorations in Birmingham this weekend. I know they have never been great but seriously they are just plain weird. At the Debenhams end there is a series of picture frames hanging from the ceiling in the shape of a Christmas tree- which might have worked except the images within the picture frames are of totally random things- bit of a Google Images jobby.
At the opposite end there is a Ferrero Rocher gold tree - which is ok but when you walk in to Selfridges you are confronted with a horrific looking inflatable Santa and a couple of green mushroom looking things hanging from the ceiling. Odd odd odd.
What is wrong with a few sparkly lights and a big tree?
