Tips for Secret Santa

Today we used a website called Elfster to set up our team's Secret Santa. It might be a little early but we have our Christmas party on the 6th December, which is only just round the corner.

Here are my top 5 tips for the best Secret Santa:

1. Don't set it up for everyone in your company - most people will end up with people they don't know that way and it is much better if you can pick out a present that is suited to your person

2. Leave plenty of time to sort it out and give people enough time to buy a present

3. If you get your boss - don't get something offensive or too silly as inevitably everyone finds out who bought for them!

4. Get one person to write labels for all the presents so that the handwriting can't be guessed

5. If you aren't sure if someone can take a jokey present - go for something nice and tasteful that won't offend them... like Christmas socks or something like that!
