ELF!!!!

So, I sat down to watch Will Ferrell in the film Elf the other night. It is such a good film, mainly because Will Ferrell is amazing but also because it has the perfect Christmas ending and you feel like you have learnt something from watching it, for example:

"The best way to spread christmas cheer is singing loud for all to hear."

It makes such perfect sense - singing along to 'You better watch out, you better not cry, you better not pout- I'm telling you why....' would cheer anybody up and put a smile on their face!

My favourite part in the film is when Buddy (Will Ferrell) goes to Gimbles - the department store and decorates Santa's grotto over night and everyone comes in the next day and it looks like the North Pole. I always remember when one of the teachers at my primary school made this fantastic grotto for Santa with corregated card and all these icicles were hanging from the ceiling. Hmm, wonder where I can get some of that card from?
